Full bodied dry red wine with a long, smooth finish. Aged in French oak barrels for 8 months with notes of dark plum, blackberry, and spices. Shares texture and heft like a fine Cabernet, but brings powerful aromas of black and red berries, black pepper and savory viands. These are returned in flavors that conclude in a lightly honeyed finish.
Enjoy with roast beef, hearty stews, duck with cherry sauce.
