Veterans and First Responders at the Heart of Silk Road Wines
At Silk Road Wines, we believe in giving back. We are committed to doing everything we can to help veterans and first responders live rich and dignified lives. Yanick was born in the country of Georgia. He came to the United States when he was 13 years old and served 4 years active duty and continues to serve as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves while Barry served as a Firefighter-Paramedic for 15 years. Being that our founders are both a veteran and a retired firefighter-paramedic, our heart is especially soft for these heroes.
We donate 10% of our proceeds to supporting first responders and veterans. Then we thought, why stop at 10%, and thus Silk Road Wines Foundation was brought to life. Our goal is to make a difference in these heroes lives and provide them with the physical and emotional support they deserve.

Wine for Warriors Gala
Annual Event
To help give back, we partnered with Tunnel to Towers Foundation and The Wounded Warriors Support Foundation – Republic of Georgia for our first annual Wine for Warriors Gala. These charities have helped in many ways, with Tunnel to Towers assisting in providing mortgage free homes to injured first responders and the families of fallen heroes and WWSF – Republic of Georgia helping to provide medical and educational assistance. We also strive to give back to our local community of Orlando in whatever way we can.
