Winemaking & Grape Origin

Our Alazani wine is crafted from 100% Saperavi grapes grown in Kakheti, a region celebrated for this grape variety. As a result, Kakheti red wine is gaining increasing recognition for its quality and distinct character, putting it on par with renowned wine-producing areas like Bordeaux and Napa Valley. To craft Alazani, we use European-style steel tank fermentation, which, in contrast to oak barrel fermentation, allows the wine’s natural fruit flavors to shine. This method results in a crisper, cleaner profile that more directly reflects the grape’s original flavor and the terroir where it was grown.
