Premium dry red wine with a dark garnet color and deep tannic structure. Perfectly balanced, rich, full-bodied, with a velvety finish. Notes of cherries, black pepper and hints of vanilla. Aged in oak barrels for eight months.

Semi-Sweet Red
Our most popular wine, this red has a semisweet start and a dry finish. Aromas of currants, flowers, and spicy white pepper fill the nose, while sweet and sour cherries cover the palate.

Made from Mtsvane, this combines sweet candied-lemon flavors with savory notes of almond and stone, the flavors holding on with a slightly pithy grip.

This wine is made from Saperavi grapes which are harvested late in the season. Pair this wine with desserts and cheese. Medium ruby in color. Nose of strawberry, red cherry, steel, vanilla and medicinal notes. Finish of ripe red fruit, red currant and some sweetness to the wine which provides a softer style in the palate. Finish lingers with cranberry and dried earth. 12.5% abv. 3.7 stars.

Silk Road Wines is a veteran-owned importer and distributor of natural wines from the Country of Georgia, considered to be the region where grapes were first domesticated and the birthplace of wine. Carbon-dating studies have proven that Georgians were making wine as far back as 6,000 BC (thousands of years before the invention of written language). It was through the Silk Road that winemaking spread from the Caucuses to the rest of the world. Just as in this historical event, Silk Road Wines seeks to bring the wines and winemaking styles of Georgia beyond the borders of its homeland.
